We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager with strong network expertise to join a key client on an initial 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently lead infrastructure operations while taking ownership of network performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the organisation's IT infrastructure estate
  • Lead on network design, implementation, and optimisation
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security across systems
  • Manage and support infrastructure projects and upgrades
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors

Key Experience Required

  • Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager or similar role
  • Strong networking expertise (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)
  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure environments
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms, virtualisation, and security best practices
  • Ability to lead projects and drive technical delivery
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Day Rate: £400-£500 (Outside IR35)
  • Working Pattern: 5 days per week
  • Location: Inverness (2-3 days on-site required)
