The Role
Morgan Hunt are working exclusively with an international charity who are seeking a Head of AI to drive the organisation's next phase of digital transformation, embedding AI as a practical and responsible enabler of strategic objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategy and delivery. You'll assess current operations, identify high-impact AI opportunities, and define a clear roadmap aligned to organisational priorities. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll lead the design, build, and deployment of scalable AI solutions - ensuring effective adoption across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a clear AI strategy and roadmap with defined outcomes
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve efficiency, services, and knowledge management
- Design and implement scalable AI architecture integrated with existing systems
- Lead prototyping, testing, and deployment of AI solutions
- Drive organisational adoption through training and capability building
- Provide strategic insight and reporting to senior stakeholders
About You
- Proven experience delivering AI and/or data platforms at scale
- Experience in a senior technical or leadership role (3+ years)
- Strong understanding of modern AI approaches, including LLMs, RAG, and orchestration
- Knowledge of cloud environments, security, and compliance considerations
