Job Description
Morgan Hunt are working with an Ofsted Outstanding training provider who are recruiting for a Hair Tutor/Assessor in Colchester. This is a part time position (3 or 4 days per week) between Monday and Friday. This is a permanent role paying up to £30,000 pro rata plus bonuses. The client is looking for someone who possess an Assessing or Teaching qualification and has experience in deliver Hair qualifications.The Hair Tutor/Assessor will be responsible for:
- Delivering and assessing the Levels 2 and 3 Hair Apprenticeships
- Visiting salons to conduct assessments
- Embedding Functional Skills
- Ensuring all documentation is complete to meet awarding body compliance
- Engaging with salon managers to promote the business and ensure future pipeline of learners
- Conducting quality assurance reviews with the IQA
The Hair Assessor will need to have:
- A Level 3 in Hairdressing
- Salon experience working up to managerial level
- Teaching or assessing experience
- Assessor or Teaching qualification
- A minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to meet company needs
In return the Hair Assessor will receive:
- An annual salary of up to £30,000 pro rata
- A bonus of £100 for each learner completed successfully on time
- Opportunity to upskill
