Salary: £42,500-£45,000 + Uncapped Commission (OTE £65,000-£75,000)

A leading IT consultancy is investing in the growth of its Managed Services and Cyber Security business and are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Business Development Manager to lead the charge.

This isn't a "go and sell" role. We're looking for someone exceptional at identifying, developing and nurturing opportunities, building trusted customer relationships and creating a sustainable pipeline of business. You'll be supported by our Managed Services Director and technical specialists throughout the sales process, allowing you to focus on opening doors, understanding customer challenges and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and develop new Managed Services and Cyber Security opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Lead opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award
  • Work closely with technical consultants during discovery and solution design
  • Develop referral partner relationships and expand local market presence
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management and forecasting
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events and customer engagement
