Changing Pathways is seeking an experienced Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to provide support to individuals affected by domestic abuse. This is a predominantly remote and community-based role, requiring the successful candidate to work independently while managing a caseload of low to medium-risk clients across the Essex area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of low to medium-risk domestic abuse clients.
- Deliver tailored emotional and practical support, including safety planning and risk assessments.
- Conduct community-based appointments and home visits across Basildon, Harlow, Epping, Brentwood and occasional visits within Thurrock.
- Maintain accurate, confidential and timely case records using the Oasis case management system.
- Work independently in a remote and lone-working environment, prioritising client safety and wellbeing.
