Temporary Teacher of English - Full-Time
We are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of English for a temporary full-time role at a well-regarded secondary school in Berkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an English specialist who enjoys inspiring young people and delivering high-quality teaching across the ability range.
The Role
- Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons rooted in a strong love of literature and language
- Support students to become confident readers, writers and communicators
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement and home learning
- Work collaboratively within a supportive and established English department
