Job Description
Morgan Hunt are working with a market leading Welfare to Work provider who are recruiting for an Employability Team Leader in North London. This role will involve supporting managing a team of Employment Specialists which support clients with mental health and disabilities into employment within their respected communities. This is full time permanent position paying between to £39,000 to £45,000 depending on experience and skills. The role will involve overseeing the performance of the Employment Specialist to ensure they are achieving their contractual obligations. The role offers hybrid working whilst engaging with the team in the community. The ideal candidate for this role will be looking for someone who has experience within employability and successfully managed a team of staff to achieve targets. The Employment Team Leader will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of up to 8 Employment Specialists
- Ensuring the team achieves the required number of job starts per month
- Engaging with external stakeholders
- Ensuring the team is ensuring their work in compliance and in line with the framework
- Creating and providing reporting on performance
The Employability Team Leader will need to have:
- A proven track record of managing a team within a target driven environment
- Experience or knowledge of the welfare to work market
- Experience in engaging employers or stakeholders
- Ideally worked within a mental health setting or mental health clients
- A minimum of a grade C in Maths and English or equivalent
- The ability to use various systems competently
In return the Employability Team Leader will receive:
- An annual salary of up to £45,000 depending on skills and experience
- 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) increasing with service
- Enhanced pension scheme after 6 months
- Life Assurance at 3 times annual salary rate
