Morgan Hunt are looking for qualified Electricians to join a Maintenance team within a large housing association in Brighton. The role involves working across a range of residential properties, including void (empty) homes and tenanted properties, delivering high-quality electrical and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of electrical work, including installation, testing, inspection, and fault finding.
- Complete electrical works in void properties to prepare them for new tenants.
- Undertake responsive repairs and planned maintenance in occupied homes.
- Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and health safety standards.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner.
- Complete certification and maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
- Provide a professional and customer-focused service when working in tenanted properties.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Experience in domestic maintenance, ideally within social housing.
- Testing and inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
