Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting experienced Electrician Engineers to join a leading social housing repairs and maintenance team in the London Area. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified electricians looking for a long-term role delivering high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, and compliance works within the social housing sector.
Working across occupied and void properties, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive a safe, reliable, and efficient service while maintaining the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, installations, testing, and inspections within social housing properties.
- Deliver works in line with current Building Regulations, NICEIC requirements, and Health Safety legislation.
- Complete electrical testing, fault finding, inspections, surveys, and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, aiming for first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Complete digital work orders, reports, and certification accurately and within required timescales.
- Work safely in occupied and void properties.
- Support larger projects and work collaboratively with colleagues and other trades.
- Mentor junior technicians and support their development where required.
- Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
- Maintain vehicle stock, tools.
