Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Housing Organisation that are looking for a Data Analyst. The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. This role will be supporting the Service Improvement team in analysis to look at business processes, data definitions, and supporting transparency. This is a temporary role, so would require previous data/business analysis.
- Deliver routine and ad-hoc data analysis, reporting, and dashboards to support service performance, policy decisions, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain, validate, and analyse complex data sets to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with Public Sector standards.
- Translate business, service, and policy questions into clear analytical requirements and measures.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, understand service needs, and define outcomes.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data insight and evidence-based analysis.
- Produce clear, accessible insight and recommendations for evidence-based and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
- Support service improvement and transformation initiatives through data-led and business analysis.
- Document business processes, data definitions, and analytical approaches to support transparency and continuity.
- Ensure work aligns with information governance, data protection, and equality duties within the public sector.
- Contribute to improving organisational data maturity, reporting capability, and analytical best practice.
- Lead the documentation and development of business process mapping, capturing current ('As-Is') processes and designing future ('To-Be') processes to support service redesign and improvement.
