About the Role

This charity is seeking a dynamic and dedicated DAHA Accreditation Project Lead to coordinate and oversee the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) foundational accreditation process across the four South Nottinghamshire Local Authorities.This is a unique opportunity to embed best practice, strengthen multi-agency partnerships, and ensure that housing responses to domestic abuse are consistent, survivor-led, and trauma-informed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the DAHA accreditation journey, conducting health checks, mapping gaps, coordinating project plans, and supporting local authorities to meet DAHA standards.
  • Drive strategic and operational improvements, embedding policy and procedure changes across housing teams.
  • Deliver staff training and create a network of Domestic Abuse Champions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, including safeguarding boards and housing governance groups.
  • Support safe, survivor-led case management and feedback mechanisms.
  • Promote anti-racist and intersectional practice in every aspect of the work.
  • Enhance perpetrator accountability in housing responses.
  • Coordinate publicity and awareness campaigns around domestic abuse responses.

What We're Looking ForEssential:

  • Proven experience managing projects or leading multi-agency initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of domestic abuse issues, including safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across services, lead change, and engage a range of stakeholders.
  • Skilled in training delivery and confident using Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Passionate about feminist values, survivor-centred work, and anti-discriminatory practice.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and local authority housing processes.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable adults or children affected by domestic abuse.
  • Understanding of homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse services.
