Construction Tutors (Design & Build / Civil Engineering / Surveying)
£40,000 + excellent benefits Full-time Permanent Remote delivery with occasional travel to Hull
Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading training provider to recruit full-time Construction Tutors. We currently have three live vacancies – two immediate starts and one January start.
The Role
As a Construction Tutor, you will deliver engaging lessons across a range of units, including more specialist modules such as:
- Unit 15: Further Maths (Level 3)
- Unit 8: Mathematics in Construction (Level 4)
You will be teaching four days per week with one day dedicated to preparation, supported by a clear curriculum, ready-made assignments, and additional academic support teams. Tutors will also benefit from a structured timetable that includes dedicated marking windows every 5-6 weeks, ensuring a sustainable workload balance.
What’s on Offer
- £40,000 package
- 8% pension (5% employee contribution)
- 25 days annual leave, rising to 28 with long service, plus:
- Birthday off (if it falls on a working day)
- Opportunity to earn up to 5 extra days through appraisal system
- 2 additional wellbeing days
- Two-week induction, with 3 days at Head Office in Hull (accommodation and evening meals provided)
- All equipment provided
Support Available
- Support Coach – helps with learner attendance, progress tracking, and assignment chasing
- EPA Specialist & Functional Skills Specialist – available to assist with delivery and learner success
What We’re Looking For
- Strong design & build background (architecture), or expertise in Surveying / Civil Engineering
- Ideally, strong mathematical knowledge to deliver higher-level units
- PGCE / DTTLS qualification
- Experience of remote delivery desirable
