We are seeking an experienced Communications Consultant to provide interim cover within a respected healthcare membership organisation for approximately one month, starting week commencing 1 June. This is a fully remote, fast-paced and hands-on role covering the full communications mix, and would suit someone who is confident operating across both strategic and delivery-focused communications activity.

  • Interim contract - approximately 1 month (with potential flexibility)

  • Rate: Up to £33 per hour (Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality communications across multiple channels
  • Draft and edit a wide range of content including press releases, member communications, briefings, statements, web copy and stakeholder updates
  • Support proactive and reactive media activity
  • Manage press enquiries and media relationships
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation
  • Support internal communications activity where required
  • Ensure messaging is accurate, engaging and aligned to organisational priorities
  • Contribute to broader communications planning and delivery

Essential Experience

  • Previous communications experience within healthcare, health policy, NHS, membership bodies
