Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Finance & Corporate Support, being the day-to-day lead on finance and business processes. To lead on the financial management of the trust, ensuring that all trust controls and processes are followed, that all procurement is conducted according to Standing Financial Instructions and best practice. Ensuring that invoices are paid appropriately and on time. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Corporate Support to ensure that the Executives and Programme Directors have appropriate information to make the best possible decisions to deliver the organisation's strategic objectives. To be continually developing and improving financial and other reporting to better support the organisation. To ensure that HIN financial reports to funders are complete and timely. To be managing the day-to-day business processes, including HR and procurement, developing and improving ways of working, ensuring appropriate guidelines are followed across the organisation, and that HIN links appropriately with the wider trust. To lead on links with trusts Finance, HR and Procurement departments, developing how HIN uses trusts systems to drive continual improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To report on a regular basis the financial position and projections of the trust, providing assurance to senior leadership and funders and enabling appropriate decision making.
