We are working with a well-established Further Education College in London that is seeking an experienced and motivated Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to join their Construction department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled industry professional or an experienced lecturer to play a key role in developing the next generation of tradespeople.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Level 1, 2 and 3 Carpentry and Joinery programmes
- Teach both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based theory lessons
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and maintain high standards of teaching and learning
What We're Looking For
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery or a related trade area
- Recent or previous on-site industry experience within Carpentry and Joinery
- Experience teaching, training, or mentoring learners, ideally within Further Education
- A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, although support may be available for the right candidate
