Morgan Hunt currently requires a Carpenter / Building Maintenance Handyperson for NHS based in Middlesex.
Pay Rate: £18ph to £21ph Ltd
Hours: 37.5 hrs, 8am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs and 8am to 4:00pm Fri
Location: Middlesex
Duration: 12 months ongoing contract
Role details:
- Carry out work activities which are both routine and non-routine.
- Carry out new works, repairs and routine planned maintenance activities to building fabric, equipment and services.
- Carry out reactive work requests, minor new installation requests and weekly planned preventative maintenance dockets efficiently.
- Escort contractors carrying out inspections, installations, strictly adhere to the relevant policies and procedures, maintain tool lists and comply with Health and Safety and Security Regulations.
- Some experience in building works e.g. plastering, painting and decorating.
Qualification required:
- National Certificate (BTEC/ONC) or equal NVQ Level 2 with relevant post experience.
- The post requires a Standard DBS.
- Recognised carpentry / joinery or approved training scheme plus relevant experience.
- Full clean Manual Driving Licence.
- DBS cleared.
Working days and hours: Mondays - Thursday 8am to 4:30pm; Friday 8am - 4pm.
