We are recruiting on behalf of an established adult training centre for a skilled and motivated Plumbing Lecturer. This role focuses on delivering high-quality training to adult learners, supporting them in gaining practical skills and recognised qualifications to progress within the plumbing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, hands-on plumbing training to adult learners
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with awarding body standards
- Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Support learners with varying levels of experience and backgrounds
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate learner records
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications
- Proven industry experience as a plumber
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate adult learners
- Commitment to safeguarding and learner success
Desirable:
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to work towards one
- Assessing qualification (e.g., A1/CAVA)
