About the Role / Job Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated support staff to work within our supported accommodation services on a flexible shift basis.
The primary shift pattern is a 24-hour shift from 09:00 to 09:00 the following day, which includes a sleep-in period between 23:00 and 07:00.
Additional cover may be required for day shifts and wake night shifts.
Experience working with young people with complex needs, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to work within a trauma-informed framework are beneficial.
Reliability and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support in accordance with Ofsted Quality Standards.
- Build trusting relationships and provide emotional and practical support.
- Promote independence through life skills development.
- Support access to education, training, and health services.
- Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns as appropriate.
