Company: A very reputable large multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with multiple offices throughout the UK. They are currently engaged in a number of projects ranging in size across Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Mixed-Use and more. Highly technical and well experienced senior management with clear plans outlined for staff development and progression. Trusting and flexible working environment. Positive workplace culture and candidate feedback. Currently seeking an experienced electrical designer at Principal or Associate level.
The Role:
- Lead the electrical design and coordination of building services projects
- Manage projects from feasibility through to detailed design and site delivery
- Oversee and review electrical calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings
- Provide technical leadership to engineers within the team
- Attend client meetings and represent the business professionally
- Support commercial activities
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications/Experience:
- Significant experience within a Building Services consultancy
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services systems
- Experience leading projects and managing client relationships
- Proficiency in industry software including Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, or similar
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Degree qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Chartered status or working towards chartership (CIBSE/IET desirable)
