We are currently recruiting for experienced Support Workers, Project Workers, Recovery Workers, and Housing Support Workers to cover ad hoc shifts across a range of supported housing, homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse services in Bristol. Key Responsibilities:
- Providing person-centred support to service users
- Supporting clients with independent living skills and tenancy sustainment
- Completing support plans, risk assessments, and case notes
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting wellbeing
- Managing challenging behaviours and responding to incidents appropriately
- Liaising with external agencies and support services
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring service compliance
Requirements:
- Previous experience within supported housing, homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, or social care settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or willingness to obtain one
- Flexibility to work various shifts at short notice
