About the Role

Morgan Hunt are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic AAT Lecturer for a further education college based in South Yorkshire. This is a temporary position running until the end of June and offers 32.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be available to start as soon as possible and will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Level 3 AAT students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective AAT Level 3 teaching sessions.
  • Plan, prepare and assess learning activities in line with AAT specifications.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support.
  • Maintain accurate student records, attendance and achievement data.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive and professional learning environment.

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

  • A recognised accounting qualification at Level 4 or above (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching or training AAT qualifications, ideally at Level 3.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students.
