About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Academic Support Worker to work with students in a college setting, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their academic goals. You will support learners across a range of subjects, including those with additional learning needs (SEN), EHCPs, or barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group academic support to students
- Assist learners in developing study skills, organisation, and independence
- Support students in lessons and during independent study
- Adapt resources and materials to meet individual needs
- Work closely with lecturers, tutors, and the learning support team
- Track and monitor student progress and engagement
- Support students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, or learning difficulties
