Support Worker
Hours: Full time 9:00am-5:00pm | Monday - Friday
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2027
We're looking for an experienced Support Worker to join an outreach team supporting people within the local community.
This is a hands-on outreach role where you'll be working alongside colleagues at pop-up community stands, engaging with individuals who may need support and helping connect them with the right services.
The Role
- Working as part of an experienced outreach team
- Supporting people within community settings
- Attending pop-up stands and outreach sessions
- Building positive relationships with individuals and encouraging engagement
- Identifying support needs and signposting to appropriate services
- Working collaboratively with colleagues - outreach visits are always carried out in pairs
- Completing relevant records and maintaining professional boundaries
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within outreach, support work, community services or a similar environment
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, approachable and non-judgemental attitude
- Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, flexible and confident engaging with people in community settings
Fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027.
