Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessments.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment that motivates and supports learners to achieve their potential.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience teaching all disciplines of science within a Further Education college.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
- A relevant degree or recognised qualification in Maths or a related subject.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
