Interim Head of MIS & Funding in Richmond

**Job Title:** Head of MIS & Funding

**Location:** Richmond

**About the Role / Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Head of MIS and Funding. The post holder will be responsible for the effective management of the MIS department, ensuring the strategic alignment of the MIS function with the organisational goals, overseeing reporting, funding planning and data management, and project planning.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Lead the MIS team in strategic initiatives and daily operations.
• Ensure that all data requirements of funding organisations are met.
• Provide the Executive team and curriculum managers with accurate information and high-quality reports.
• Coordinate with other department heads to integrate MIS resources effectively.
• Ensure that curriculum managers receive accurate and timely management information.
• Contribute to the annual SAR process and Ofsted inspections.

**Qualifications:**

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of funding methodologies and reporting requirements.
• Advanced IT skills (e.g., SQL Server, report writing tools).
• Strong analytical and data presentation skills.
• Experience managing teams and providing leadership to MIS staff.

**Education Requirements:**

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Certifications in data management or IT systems are preferred.

**Experience Requirements:**

• Proven experience in a similar role within the education sector.
• Experience in managing MIS teams and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic insights and reports.
