Repairs & Voids Surveyor
Are you a proactive and technically skilled surveyor with a passion for delivering high-quality housing services? We are seeking a Repairs & Voids Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in ensuring properties are safe, well-maintained, and ready to let within target timescales.
About the Role
As a Repairs & Voids Surveyor, you will lead the surveying function for void properties and day-to-day responsive repairs. Your responsibilities will include accurate diagnosis, clear specifications, quality delivery, statutory compliance, and ensuring an excellent resident experience. Key Responsibilities
Conduct surveys and inspections to assess property conditions.
Manage repairs and void processes effectively, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with contractors and service providers to deliver high-quality work.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to repairs and voids.
Support residents with queries and concerns, maintaining a customer-focused approach.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in property surveying or a related field.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, standards, and housing legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
A degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (professional qualifications such as RICS accreditation are desirable).
