As a Employability Tutor / Job Coach in Reading, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring young people, helping them to develop essential skills for successful employment.
This position focuses on facilitating meaningful internship opportunities that promote independence and enhance employability skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals in securing and maintaining internship placements.
- Provide tailored coaching and mentoring to enhance participants' skills and confidence.
- Work closely with employers to identify suitable roles and ensure a positive experience for all parties.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to participants on their progress.
- Collaborate with educational staff to align internship experiences with learning goals.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to develop essential workplace skills.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a relevant qualification in education, social work, or a related field.
- Level 3 award in education and training (or equivalent).
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Agreement to take the L3 Supported Employment qualification.
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with barriers to employment.
