About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Specialist - Literacy & Numeracy to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across further education settings in Greater Manchester .
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted interventions, individualised support, and practical assistance to help learners overcome barriers to learning. This role is ideal for someone passionate about improving learner outcomes and helping students develop the confidence and essential skills required for further education, employment, and independent living.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support in English, maths, literacy, and numeracy.
- Deliver targeted interventions to improve reading, writing, spelling, communication, and mathematical understanding.
