Morgan Hunt are looking for a skilled floor layer in the Canterbury area to join a Responsive Repairs team, carrying out high-quality flooring repairs and installations in occupied properties (social housing) and communal areas. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work across a range of flooring types, ensuring residents receive a first-class service and a high standard of work every time. What you'll be doing Installing, repairing and replacing a variety of flooring including vinyl, laminate, carpet tiles and safety flooring. Preparing and levelling subfloors to ensure a quality finish. Carrying out floor preparation works, including latex screeds and smoothing compounds. Completing repairs safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Responding to urgent and emergency repair requests when required. Maintaining accurate job records using mobile working technology. Delivering excellent customer service and keeping residents informed throughout the works. Working closely with other trades to provide effective repair solutions.
