Job Title: Job Coach - High Wycombe
Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent
Salary Range: Β£26,900 - Β£32,900 per annum
About the Role / Job Summary:
This role is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment. As a Job Coach in High Wycombe, you will play a vital role in guiding and mentoring participants, helping them to develop essential skills for successful employment. This position focuses on facilitating meaningful opportunities that promote independence and enhance employability skills.
The role is based on-site 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals in securing and maintaining job placements.
- Provide tailored coaching and mentoring to enhance participants' skills and confidence.
- Work closely with employers to identify suitable roles and ensure a positive experience for all parties.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to participants on their progress.
- Collaborate with educational staff to align job experiences with learning goals.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to develop essential workplace skills.
Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Agreement to take the L3 Supported Employment qualification.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with barriers to employment.
- Experience in developing training programs or workshops is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the local job market and employer engagement strategies.
- Experience of working with individuals with special needs.
