Job Title: Assistant Repairs Delivery Manager (Temporary Position)

About the Role / Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an Assistant Repairs Delivery Manager to oversee and manage trades staff and contractors. The role involves handling reactive repairs and providing essential planning advice on repair jobs. This position requires effective communication and resource management to ensure high-quality service delivery. The contract duration is six months and working days are Mon- Fri.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage trades staff and contractors effectively.
  • Handle reactive repairs and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide planners with advice on repair jobs.
  • Assist technical officers in various tasks.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to discuss resources and planning.
  • Address and resolve complaints efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in repairs management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Education Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in construction, management, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing trades staff or contractors.
  • Experience in reactive repairs and service delivery.
  • Familiarity with social housing or public sector maintenance is advantageous.
