Location: Enfield, London
Contract: Temporary - 12 weeks initially
Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 30 hours per week
Working arrangement: 2 days in the office, 2 days working from home
Start date: ASAP - You MUST have a valid in date DBS
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Family First Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) to join Solace's team in Enfield on an initial 12-week temporary contract.
The successful candidate will provide specialist support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, working with those experiencing high-risk situations.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialist IDVA support to survivors of domestic abuse.

Complete risk assessments and develop individualised safety plans.

Support clients experiencing high-risk domestic abuse, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

Work closely with children and families affected by domestic abuse.

Liaise with multi-agency professionals and partner organisations to coordinate effective support.

Advocate on behalf of survivors and help them access appropriate services and support.

Maintain accurate case records and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
Requirements:

Previous experience working as an IDVA or within a domestic abuse service.

Strong understanding of domestic abuse, risk assessment and safeguarding.

Experience supporting high-risk clients.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-agency team.

Excellent communication, advocacy and case management skills.
