About the Role / Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Tutor to join our team in Dunstable.

This role offers an opportunity to engage with learners and help them achieve their educational goals in a supportive environment.

As a Construction Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in construction skills, ensuring that students acquire the necessary knowledge and practical skills to succeed in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in construction skills.
  • Deliver Level 1 Multi-Skills training to students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials tailored to student needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching practices.

Qualifications

  • Relevant teaching qualification (e. g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
  • Level 3 qualification in construction or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in teaching construction skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in delivering training in construction.
