Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects? We are seeking a proactive and hands-on individual to join our team. This role will be overseeing multiple key projects across the Fife region.
About the Role:
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of civil works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating with subcontractors and maintaining strong communication with project managers and the commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day site operations
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations
- Coordinate labour, plant and materials to meet project timelines
- Liaise with engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor progress and prepare site reports
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within civil engineering or construction
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, roads and infrastructure
- Valid CSCS card and SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- First Aid
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Full UK driving licence
