We are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrician to join our team working on social housing properties in and around Selkirk.
The Role
- Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work within occupied and void social housing properties.
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Completing testing, inspection, and certification work as required.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with current regulations and health & safety standards.
- Providing excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician (SVQ Level 3, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations qualification (18th Edition preferred).
- Experience working within domestic properties; social housing experience is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
