Morgan Hunt are delighted to be partnering exclusively with OneRen as they look to welcome a Finance Manager (Management Accounting and Business Planning) on a 12 month FTC basis. This role will support and develop financial planning, budget monitoring and financial reporting processes across OneRen to enable effective decision making and achievement of their Business Plan objectives.
OneRen is a local charitable trust dedicated to improving the health and well being of people across Renfrewshire through accessible cultural, leisure and sporting opportunities. They are passionate about supporting communities to lead healthier, more active lives by delivering inclusive services that improve physical and mental well being with creating positive social and economic outcomes.
- Support the Strategic Finance Manager in delivering Finance team objectives and wider organisational goals, including deputising when required.
- Lead and improve financial reporting systems, ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality financial information across the organisation.
- Provide financial analysis, advice and support to senior leaders, budget holders and key stakeholders to support effective decision making.
- Support financial strategy development, business planning, transformation projects and financial modelling for future initiatives and investments.
- Assist with budget setting, long-term financial planning, annual accounts preparation and statutory/government financial returns.
- Manage and support finance staff, including performance reviews, development and training requirements.
- Continuously review and improve financial processes, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations and organisational policies.
Qualifications:
- ACCA, ICAS, CIMA.
- Experience of providing finance support to budget holders and senior managers in a public sector and/or charitable environment.
- Experience in supporting change projects.
- Experience of supporting annual accounts, estimate preparation and leading budget monitoring.
