About the role
Morgan Hunt are delighted to be partnering exclusively with OneRen as they look to welcome a Finance Manager on a 3 month contract basis. If successful, you will support and develop financial planning, budget monitoring and financial reporting processes across OneRen to enable effective decision making and achievement of their Business Plan objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Strategic Finance Manager in delivering Finance team objectives and wider organisational goals, including deputising when required.
- Lead and improve financial reporting systems, ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality financial information across the organisation.
- Provide financial analysis, advice and support to senior leaders, budget holders and key stakeholders to support effective decision making.
- Support financial strategy development, business planning, transformation projects and financial modelling for future initiatives and investments.
- Assist with budget setting, long-term financial planning, annual accounts preparation and statutory/government financial returns.
- Manage and support finance staff, including performance reviews, development and training requirements.
- Continuously review and improve financial processes, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations and organisational policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fully Qualified - e.g ACCA, ICAS, CIMA.
- Experience of providing finance support to budget holders and senior managers in a public sector and/or charitable environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Demonstrate effective staff management experience.
- Experience in supporting change projects.
- Experience of supporting annual accounts, estimate preparation and leading budget monitoring.
