We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead Interaction/UX Designer to lead design efforts in the development of user-centred digital services. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the user experience through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven professional experience in an interaction or UX design role at a leadership level, demonstrating ownership of design decisions and outcomes.
  • Expertise using the GDS Design System, including hands-on experience prototyping with the GDS prototyping kit.
  • Demonstrated experience working in close collaboration with Service Designers, Content Designers, and User Researchers to deliver user-centred services.
  • Strong working knowledge of the GDS Service Standard and experience designing services in line with its principles.
  • Experience engaging and working with a diverse group of stakeholders, including technical teams, business leads, and users.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor others, fostering high-quality design decisions and advocating for the needs of users.
