Morgan Hunt are seeking skilled and reliable Painters to join our Housing Maintenance team within a large local authority. The role involves working across a range of residential properties, including void (empty) homes and tenanted properties, helping to maintain and improve housing standards across the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating, including surface preparation, emulsion, glossing, and finishing
  • Prepare and redecorate void properties ready for new tenants
  • Undertake maintenance and redecoration work in occupied homes
  • Ensure high-quality finishes in line with required standards
  • Identify and report any additional maintenance issues within properties
  • Work safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Deliver a professional and respectful service when working in tenanted properties

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Painter, ideally within social housing or maintenance
  • Ability to carry out a wide range of decorating tasks to a high standard
  • Good knowledge of materials, techniques, and surface preparation
  • Full UK driving licence (van provided for work use)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
