Morgan Hunt are looking for skilled and dependable Plumbers to join a Housing Maintenance team within a large local authority. This role involves working across a variety of residential properties, including void (empty) homes and tenanted properties, delivering high-quality plumbing and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including installation, repairs, and maintenance
  • Prepare and complete plumbing works in void properties ready for new tenants
  • Undertake responsive and planned maintenance in occupied homes
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to a high standard
  • Work on systems including pipework, bathrooms, kitchens, and heating systems (basic)
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and health & safety standards
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service in tenanted properties
  • Accurately record work completed and materials used

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within social housing or maintenance
  • Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
  • Ability to carry out a wide range of plumbing tasks independently
  • Full UK driving licence (van provided for work use)
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills
