Morgan Hunt are seeking experienced and reliable Joiners to join a Housing Maintenance team within a large local authority. This role involves working across a portfolio of residential properties, including both void (empty) properties and tenanted homes, ensuring all joinery and repair works are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all aspects of joinery work, including repairs, installations, and maintenance
  • Work on void properties to prepare them for new tenants
  • Undertake responsive and planned maintenance in occupied homes
  • Install and repair doors, windows, kitchens, flooring, and other wooden fixtures
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards
  • Provide excellent customer service when working in tenanted properties
  • Accurately record work completed and materials used

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter, ideally within social housing or maintenance environments
  • Ability to carry out a wide range of joinery tasks independently
  • Full UK driving licence (van provided for work use)
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
