Your new company
Working jointly across NHS Highland and The Highland Council, this role offers an opportunity to support one of the most significant public engagement programmes currently taking place in the Highlands. As the two anchor public bodies in the region, both organisations are reviewing how health and social care services are planned and delivered through the Models of Integration (MOI) review. Highland currently operates a Lead Agency model in Scotland, and this review will consider whether to enhance that arrangement or move to an Integration Joint Board model. No decision has yet been made, and engagement with staff, communities and partners is central to the process.
About the role
This is a communications and engagement role focused on making complex information clear, accessible and relevant to communities across the Highlands. You will create engaging content across social media, digital platforms, media releases, web content and public engagement materials, helping encourage people to take part in the conversation around the future of health and social care integration in Highland.
We are looking for a creative and confident communicator who can:
- Turn complex information into engaging content
- Create strong digital and social media communications
- Work across a wide range of audiences and stakeholders
- Support media handling and public engagement activity
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines
The successful candidate will work across both organisations and support the delivery of a joint communications and engagement approach for the programme.
