As Senior Technical Officer, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex planned investment, cyclical maintenance and major works projects, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, customer service and value for money. Acting as client representative, you will oversee project delivery from initial appraisal through design, procurement, contract administration and completion.
You will manage consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across tenants, owners and partner organisations. The role requires effective programme management, budget control, risk mitigation and governance reporting to support organisational and regulatory objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading delivery of major works and asset investment programmes
- Managing consultant appointments, procurement and performance
- Overseeing design development, cost planning and contract administration
- Monitoring project quality, programme, budget and compliance performance
- Managing contractor delivery and health & safety obligations
