They have multiple offices across the UK and have a solid reputation for successful project delivery throughout numerous sectors within the Built Environment. Projects can vary from small works to 100m+ across Education, Heritage, High-End Residential, Cultural, Laboratories and more. They have a very modern, open-plan office space, with a positive energic culture. You will get exposure to designing a wide range of mechanical systems across multiple jobs and there is an excellent support system in place for staff training and development. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Glasgow office.
Role
- Design mechanical building services systems across various projects
- Produce calculations, specifications, and technical reports
- Collaborate with electrical engineers, architects, and contractors
- Participate in design reviews and client meetings
- Conduct site surveys
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- 2+ years' experience in building services design (consultancy preferred)
- Experience carrying out site surveys and producing survey reports
- Familiarity with UK standards and regulations
- Understanding of sustainable design principles
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
