We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Officer to join a local housing organisation on a 3-month contract.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing void properties, ensuring homes are brought up to lettable standard.
  • Investigating and managing damp and mould cases, arranging inspections and remedial works.
  • Supporting delivery of a new kitchen replacement programme.
  • Liaising with tenants and contractors to ensure works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in social housing maintenance, repairs, or property management.
  • Knowledge of voids processes and damp & mould cases.
  • Strong communication skills and experience managing contractors.

This is a great opportunity to support a busy housing team on a short-term contract.
