Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Services Officer to join a housing organisation on a temporary basis until the end of March 2027.

The role will provide frontline support to tenants, residents and applicants, dealing with a range of repairs and maintenance enquiries.

Key responsibilities:

- Handling high-volume telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
- Logging and triaging repairs, identifying emergency, urgent and routine issues.
- Arranging appointments and liaising with contractors and internal teams.
- Providing housing information, advice and signposting.
- Identifying and escalating safeguarding, health & safety and emergency issues.
- Supporting reception and general administrative duties.

About you:

We are looking for someone with previous customer service experience, ideally within a housing association, local authority or similar environment. Experience of repairs triage would be advantageous.
\n
You will need excellent communication skills, strong IT and administrative abilities, good attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
