Morgan Hunt are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Asset / Maintenance Officer to help deliver an efficient, cost-effective property maintenance service. This is a temporary post for around 8 weeks minimum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage reactive and void property maintenance, including inspections, raising works orders and monitoring contractor performance
  • Carry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Oversee estate services including landscaping and cleaning contracts
  • Support the delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
  • Monitor contractor performance and manage projects to agreed KPIs
  • Process alterations, medical adaptations, insurance claims and compensation applications
  • Monitor budgets, authorise invoices and ensure value for money
  • Support tenant safety compliance, including damp & mould inspections

Experience you will need will be:

  • Experience in property maintenance, asset management or housing repairs
  • Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance processes
  • Excellent communication and contractor management skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and monitor performance
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving ability
  • Good IT skills and experience using asset or housing management systems
