Morgan Hunt are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Asset / Maintenance Officer to help deliver an efficient, cost-effective property maintenance service. This is a temporary post for around 8 weeks minimum.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reactive and void property maintenance, including inspections, raising works orders and monitoring contractor performance
- Carry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Oversee estate services including landscaping and cleaning contracts
- Support the delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
- Monitor contractor performance and manage projects to agreed KPIs
- Process alterations, medical adaptations, insurance claims and compensation applications
- Monitor budgets, authorise invoices and ensure value for money
- Support tenant safety compliance, including damp & mould inspections
Experience you will need will be:
- Experience in property maintenance, asset management or housing repairs
- Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance processes
- Excellent communication and contractor management skills
- Ability to manage budgets and monitor performance
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving ability
- Good IT skills and experience using asset or housing management systems
