We are currently recruiting an Agile Delivery Manager to join our UK Government client.
Package:
- Salary: 45,000-51,000 (depending on experience)
- Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
- Pension: 26% employer contribution
- Location: Fully remote, with quarterly travel to a UK office (expenses covered)
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering large-scale ERP or CRM system implementation projects. Experience within government or the wider public sector would be highly beneficial. This organisation is embarking on an exciting digital transformation journey, and this role will place you at the centre of those ambitions.
The Role:
As a Delivery Manager, you will lead the delivery of one or more critical digital products, contributing to key stages of the service journey. This may involve enhancing existing digital services, such as a recently launched website, or designing and developing new products aligned with the digital roadmap. You will support one or more multidisciplinary teams, helping them deliver value through accessible, user-centred services that benefit staff.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Agile and Lean Practices: Coach teams to maintain a strong focus on delivery and continuous learning; Apply agile techniques to maximise team effectiveness.
- Team Health and Performance: Motivate and support teams, enabling focus on core priorities; Foster trust and manage team dynamics effectively.
- Delivery Support: Monitor and report on progress; Support product managers with roadmaps and backlog development; Build strong stakeholder relationships; Remove blockers and keep teams focused on delivering value while balancing user needs, budget, and timelines.
While you will be an expert in agile delivery and team leadership, you will also need a solid understanding of product and service design, software development, user research, UX, and accessibility.
