- Scheduling & Job Management
- Schedule and dispatch plumbers for reactive and planned works (e.g., leaks, boiler issues, installations)
- Manage engineer diaries and prioritise urgent/emergency call-outs
- Track job progress from booking through to completion
- Ensure jobs are completed within agreed timeframes
- Customer & Client Communication
- Act as first point of contact for tenants, clients, and contractors
- Handle booking appointments and providing updates
- Respond to queries relating to gas servicing, breakdowns, and safety checks
- Compliance & Certification
- Administration & Data Management
- Input job details, engineer notes, and updates into internal systems
- Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems
- Prepare reports for management on job completion, compliance, and performance
- Documentation & Reporting
- Generate and process job sheets, invoices, and reports
- Ensure accurate documentation for audits and inspections
- Support contract administration for housing associations, councils, or private clients
- General Office Support
- Support onboarding admin for engineers (certifications, records)
- Assist with ad hoc administrative duties
