OneRen is looking for a qualified Financial Accounting Manager to join the organisation on a 12-month FTC basis, supporting financial reporting, statutory accounts, audit activity, and financial control across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys improving processes, working across teams, and supporting a high-performing finance function within a large and varied organisation. The role offers hybrid working with two days per week in the office alongside flexible home working arrangements. The office is easily accessible via public transport links.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead year-end and statutory accounts processes
- Support external audit and financial compliance activity
- Prepare financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee accruals, adjustments, and ledger integrity
- Support VAT returns and treasury-related processes
- Supervise and support finance staff
- Drive improvements across finance systems and procedures
About You
- Fully qualified CCAB accountant or equivalent
- Strong experience within financial accounting and statutory reporting
- Experience managing audits and year-end processes
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Comfortable working within fast-paced environments
- Experience within public sector, charity, leisure, or regulated environments is advantageous
